HONEY Japanese: はちみつ Available flavors: Mikan Honey + Flower Honey What: Mikan Honey: Beehives are located amongst mikan flowers and the bees collect the nectar from these flowers giving their honey a distinctive mikan taste. Mikan flowers are only in bloom for about two weeks every year (in mid-May), making Mikan Honey somewhat of a rarity. Flower Honey: Beehives are located amongst a range of flower varieties, including birdeye speedwell, violets, helonias orientalis, dandelions, heavenly bamboo, azaleas, fairy vetch and chestnut flowers.
